I might have had a little help with this one. I was talking with a friend when this idea was conceived. It is very true. Playing it safe your entire life can only get you so far. Eventually you will have to step out of what you are comfortable with if you every want any kind of change in your life. It never hurts to try new things, you will trip and you will fall, but you learn to get up and you are better for it. With great risk comes great reward, you just have to be willing to take that gamble.

I hate when you have a conversation with someone and out of left field they drop some crazy word that really doesn’t fit in with the rest of the conversation. It was as though they were waiting to drop this bomb, just at the right time. I don’t mind it when people have educated conversation with fancy words. But don’t just force a word because you just learned it on your word of the day calendar, because it really just makes you sound stupid because you can tell when people do that. That one word tends to stick out. The person will slow their speech and mach sure to annunciate the word. That’s when I just walk away from the conversation.

I strongly believe in Murphy’s law, what can go wrong will go wrong. Things like that happen all the time. Sometimes things will be going very smoothly and it seems as though nothing will happen. Then out of nowhere one little thing sends the whole thing spiraling out of control. It is like a domino effect, once one thing goes then all of a sudden everything begins to fall. It can be very frustrating in my opinion. Especially if it is projects that you are working on and you have vested a lot of time and energy into it and then you realize that one thing was wrong which ruins the project. Thats why when you play sudoku you have to play in pencil, for the time that you mess up one number you can erase the whole thing and start over. Or do what I do and burn the whole paper. Just saying

I try very hard to not debate politics with anyone. No one ever wins, people are so passionate about there political views that they take it almost as an insult when you don’t agree with them, you then spend the better part of an hour in a shouting match with someone going in circles and making no progress in the debate. I do though enjoy a calm political discussion with people about certain views, as long as everyone can be mature about it. I can not stand it when people come to me and try to pick a fight. Keep walking sir because you will get nothing out of me.

What is normal? Who came up with it? In my opinion to try and strive live some ideal apple pie lifestyle is stranger then anything else. Normal is like art, different people view it different ways. So i feel that people should just be who they are comfortable being because then you really are normal, because you are you.

I hate when I meet people and they think that for some reason that they way they dress, the music they listen to, or the shows they watch makes them vastly different then anyone else in the world. No that is false you have just conformed to a different group. You were not the first person to get gages, tattoos, black pants, or just hate life in general. Your just as cookie cut as the people who you despise for being so regular and a sell out. Well I have news for you. American Eagle and Hot Topic are right next door to each other. You are no different then them so get off the high horse.

This was a saying that I came up with many moons ago. I came up with it after I felt the phrase “don’t mistake my confidence for cockiness” was over played. In my opinion; I dont believe too much in modesty. Not to say that you need to be full of yourself is a good thing, but what is the problem with having a bit of an ego? Having a good ego is good for your self confidence. You don’t see professional athletes being very modest do you? No they claim to be the best or strive to be one of the elite. Doctors are the same way. Let me ask, would you rather have a surgeon who says he is “OK” or the one who said he is “great”? I must say, I choose the latter. So Kernfucious says go ahead, be a little cocky, let people know who you. And make sure they know the YOU are the shit.
